How Ultraguard Makes the Difference

Our decking boards are capped with a polymer shell that wraps around a core of high-density polythene and wood fibre.

That outer layer is what keeps scratches, stains and fading at bay, so the boards keep their colour and finish long after timber would need sanding and re-staining.

Made Mostly From What’s Already Out There

About 95% of each Castlewood board comes from recycled material, including reclaimed wood fibre and plastic bottles among it.

Therefore, choosing composite over timber is also choosing to put less new material into the ground and make use of materials that have already been recovered and recycled.
