Gone are the days of rotting timber framework, and extensive ground preparation. Castlewood adjustable supports, with optional self-levelling heads, create perfectly level, long-lasting decking in half the time — including on the uneven ground.
Castlewood’s Adjustable Decking Supports provides a robust, reliable base for raised decking on uneven ground. Pedestals are designed to support decking joists made of timber, composite, aluminum, or plastic, to provide a perfectly level surface, even on sloping ground.
Available in six height configurations between approximately 10 mm and 220 mm—with 100 mm modular couplers available to add extra height—they are designed for versatility and precision.
Every pedestal supports point loads of up to 1000 kg, rendering them ideal for robust installations like roof terraces, balconies, pool areas, and commercial podium decks. Self-leveling available heads can adjust for slopes of up to 7%, allowing for quick and precise modifications on gently sloped surfaces.
1. Quick, easy-to-install plastic decking
2. Ensures excellent airflow, perforated drainage pipe, sturdy, and robust
3. Versatile decking support that elevates the subframe without any need for posts or concrete
4. Decking Support available in a size range of 28mm to 225mm
5. Size can be extended further by using 100mm couplers
1. Used for installation underneath wood, plastic, aluminium or composite joists
2. Suited for use in gardens, landscapes, roof terraces, balconies, podiums around swimming pools
3. Ideal for temporary floors in marquees, communal areas, and on grounds with some gradient
4. Decking Supports are suitable for precision levelling of decking planks, paving slabs or shed levelling feet
5. Utilized in applications where good airflow is required
1. Quick, simple erection – adjust height without complicated groundwork or machinery.
2. Excellent drainage and ventilation – pedestal building provides ventilation and water evacuation beneath the deck.
3. Corrosion-resistant and long-lasting – the all-polymer construction resists rot, weathering, and membrane degradation.
4. Highly adaptable – accommodates various decking materials.
5. In-field precision levelling – the self-levelling head reduces the installation margin of error.
6. Adjustable height – modular connectors increase range for tailored setups.
Thanks to the simple design of our adjustable supports, creating a level decking surface on uneven ground couldn’t be easier. Installation is quicker and cleaner than traditional methods. It requires no time-consuming preparation and no special tools or skills.
This fast, efficient method also creates a ready-made space for drainage, cables, and pipes to run beneath the deck.
Each of our lightweight pedestals is easily adjustable, even when holding the bearer. The optional self-levelling head will compensate for gradients of up to 7%, meaning undulations are less of an obstacle when installing the deck substructure.
Castlewood adjustable decking supports can be installed on almost any surface. Unlike existing methods, our supports give you the flexibility to extend or reduce your decked area easily and without damage.
Decking supports easily compensate for uneven surfaces and slopes, and can eliminate the need for extensive ground preparation. Our supports can withstand loads of up to 1000kg each.
Unlike traditional timber decking framework, Castlewood adjustable decking supports will never rot. It also extends the lifespan of decking boards by keeping them up off the ground, away from moisture.
As the pedestals have no abrasive edges and are evenly spaced to spread the load across the surface below, membranes are protected, extending their lifespan too.
